An exhibition titled "A Tale of Stolen Time" at the Gerritude Herbert Institute of Art in Augusta, Georgia, displaying visitors viewing artwork and informational panels inside an ornate room with a glass arched ceiling

Installation view, the Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art, Augusta, GA.

A Tale of Stolen Time brings together paintings and drawings that approach memory as something unstable and personal, a process of storage and recall that is inherently inaccurate. Throughout the work, erasure, fragmentation, and simplification reflect the imperfect nature of memory and its constant state of flux, shaped by both physical experience and digital mediation. The exhibition dwells in a transitional space between the past and the unknown, holding images in a state of suspension and potential rather than resolution.

On view through February 13, 2026.
