People viewing artwork at an art gallery during an event called 'A Tale of SoLENTIME' at the Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art in Augusta, GA, from January 9 to February 13, 2026.

Installation view, the Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art, Augusta, GA.

A Tale of Stolen Time brings together paintings and drawings that approach memory as something unstable and personal, a process of storage and recall that is inherently inaccurate. Throughout the work, erasure, fragmentation, and simplification reflect the imperfect nature of memory and its constant state of flux, shaped by both physical experience and digital mediation. The exhibition dwells in a transitional space between the past and the unknown, holding images in a state of suspension and potential rather than resolution.
